Robert D. Lyons III, M.A., LPC, LSOTP, NCC, CCSOTS is a graduate of Sam Houston State University (SHSU) in Huntsville, Texas where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology in 1999.  He continued his studies at SHSU and in 2002 graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling with a Specialization in Substance Abuse Counseling. 

Robert is licensed in the State of Texas as a Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Sex Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP).  He is also certified at the National level as a Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Clinically Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist (CCSOTS). 

Throughout his career, Robert has been employed with well-known agencies including the Texas Youth Commission (TYC), the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), and the Mental Health Mental Retardation Authority of Harris County (MHMRA). 

Robert is working in Private Practice and provides treatment services for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (CPS), the Texas Youth Commission (TYC) and Unity Children's Home (UCH).
